Fees and Funding
At Nippertime Preschool, we aim to make funded childcare simple, transparent and fully accessible for every family. Below you’ll find clear information about how funded hours work at our setting and how you can use your child’s entitlement with us.
Opening Hours
09:15–14:30, Monday to Friday We are open for 39 weeks per year. Government funding covers 38 weeks, so the final week of term is charged privately.
Funded Hours We Offer
We offer up to 4.5 funded hours per day, between 10:00 and 14:30.
The number of funded hours your child receives depends on how many days they attend:

What Parents Provide
Parents must provide the following when accessing funded hours:

These items are not charged by the preschool.

Chargeable Extras
Nippertime Preschool does not charge for any optional extras alongside funded hours. All optional extras are included within our standard session fee.​

Fees and Payments
Payments can be made:

Termly in advance

Monthly through our instalment plan
We accept payments via GoCardLess or through government childcare schemes where applicable.

​Refunds or deductions cannot be made if a child is ill, on holiday or for any reason that a child does not attend Preschool. Days which are reserved, cannot be relocated to other days.
​No reduction is made where a child is collected early.
A Discount of 5% is given if your child attends all five days per week. In addition, if a brother or sister of the child attends the preschool, then a further 5% discount is given. These fees exclude the cost of any funded entitlement your child may be allocated.
